MAJO House is a preliminary study project that proposes the complete rehabilitation of an existing dwelling, located in a consolidated urban area of Alcochete.
The starting point was the preservation of the original volume, reinterpreting traditional architecture through a bold, contemporary and minimalist approach.
Inside, the concept is based on a predominantly open-plan space that prioritises amplitude, natural light and spatial fluidity, reflecting a modern and functional lifestyle.
The surrounding courtyard follows the same conceptual line — simple, refined and contemporary — creating a harmonious relationship between interior and exterior and reinforcing the project’s modern identity.
