Neto Architecture Lda. is an architectural and interior-design firm devoted to the development of unique projects that combine functionality, aesthetics and identity.

Based in Funchal with operations in mainland Portugal and the island of Madeira, the firm works on residential, commercial and institutional projects, always attentive to detail, sustainability and the distinctiveness of each space.

The founder, Isa Neto, originally from Lisbon, earned her degree in Architecture from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa and completed her Master’s in 2011 in Berlin, Germany.

  • Preparation and submission of projects for approval by municipal councils and respective external entities.
  • Regularisation of existing constructions.
  • Management of processes with the competent authorities (municipal council, DGPC, CCDR, ICNF, etc.).

Rehabilitation & Restoration

  • Interventions in older buildings, including classified heritage properties.
  • Adaptation of buildings for new uses (e.g., change from residential to commercial, horizontal property).

Architectural Projects

  • Housing: single-family homes, apartment buildings, rehabilitation of old buildings.
  • Commercial & services: shops, restaurants, hotels, offices.

Construction Supervision

  • Site management or site inspection direction.
  • Coordination with engineering disciplines (structural, networks, HVAC, SCIE, etc.).
  • Cost, schedule and quality control.

Energy Sustainability

  • Projects to improve energy certification.
  • Bioclimatic and sustainable architecture design.
  • Integration of renewable energies (solar panels, materials, etc.).
