Duplex Lisboa

Located in Lisbon, this duplex is situated within a Special Protection Zone, under the close supervision of the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage.

The intervention proposes the extension of the upper floor and the enlargement of the openings, providing a contemporary response to the client’s residential needs. The west-facing balcony is enhanced, allowing for natural thermal gains and greater interior comfort.

The project highlights the potential of Lisbon apartments, which are often limited by the dimensions of the urban context, through a minimalist interior refurbishment that prioritises light, space and functionality.
