POLIMA BAR

The Snack Bar Polima project involves the full rehabilitation of a severely deteriorated dwelling, transformed into a small bar with a rustic character and contemporary identity. The intervention preserves the existing volumetry, enhancing the pre-existing structure through an approach that combines traditional materials with modern architectural solutions.

For the exterior finishes, a palette of neutral tones was chosen to ensure harmonious integration with the surroundings while respecting the constructive memory of the original building. Inside, a bold atmosphere was developed, where the contrast between textures, natural elements, and scenographic lighting enhances the user experience.

Vegetation plays a key role in the project’s concept. Despite the limited footprint due to its proximity to the public road, the landscaping strategy aims to establish a continuous relationship between interior and exterior, using adapted and well-framed plant species to create a welcoming and visually coherent space.
