Moscavide

The project involved the complete interior rehabilitation of an apartment in Moscavide, including structural reinforcement and full remodelling of the existing spaces. The intervention aimed to enhance the original identity of the property, preserving characteristic elements and reinterpreting them through a contemporary language.

Among the project’s main premises was the intention to respect the pre-existing character, maintaining the original tiles, the distinctive geometric form of the arch, and the expressive herringbone flooring. These elements were integrated in a way that balances memory and modernity, resulting in a cohesive and harmonious whole.

The flooring plays a key role in creating visual continuity between the different rooms, helping to broaden the spatial perception of the apartment. Its narrow, elongated configuration and limited natural light required a careful approach in the selection of materials and formal solutions.
